Custom Aluminum Parts, Quoted From Your Drawing

We do not sell a catalogue. Every part below is made to a drawing. Aluminum parts run on one route — extruded profile, machined features, bead blast and anodize, inspected and shipped — while non-aluminum machined parts run on a precision machining route, with the same engineering team and the same inspection report either way. What changes between part types is which tolerance decides the price.

What we quote most often

Six families. One of them has its own page today; the rest are quoted from your drawing using the same process route.

Thin-wall aluminum housing section in a black anodized finish

Aluminum Enclosures

Appearance and structural housings for devices, machined to ±0.01 mm fits. Extruded 6063 body, machined end caps and ports, anodized finish.

Precision Aluminum Enclosures

Thin-wall housings at 0.3 mm where hinge, port and lid tolerances are the hard part.

Custom Aluminum Profiles

Your cross-section, extruded to ±0.05 mm. Supplied cut to length or as a finished machined part.

Drilling a bore in an extruded aluminum profile

Precision CNC Aluminum Parts

Bores, threads, sealing faces and pockets cut on extruded blanks or billet.

Aluminum Heat Sinks

Integrated fins at 3–6 mm pitch, extruded with the body so there is no interface to conduct across.

Aluminum Tubes & Round Profiles

Round and shaped tubes for handles, barrels and cylindrical housings.

Which part type, which alloy, which tolerance

A quick filter before you open the drawing. Each row is what we normally run, not the only thing we can run.

Tubes are quoted on the end, not just the wall

A round profile is the simplest section we run and the one where the second operation decides the price. Tube ends are usually faced, bored and threaded to ±0.04 mm, and the bore is measured after the part has relaxed rather than straight off the tool.

  • Diameter range and wall agreed at drawing review
  • Bore and OD held to ±0.04 mm after machining
  • Clear, black or custom anodized, colour approved on a chip

What makes a quote fast

A quote that arrives with questions attached is a quote you cannot use. These four answers remove almost every follow-up:

  • Annual quantity — decides whether a die is justified
  • Critical tolerances — one or two callouts, not the whole drawing
  • Finish and colour — bead blast, anodize, chip approval
  • Application — tells us which failure mode matters

No drawing? Describe what the part houses, its approximate size, wall thickness and annual volume. We will sketch the section and tell you whether it extrudes.

Not on this list?

Parts outside these six families are still worth a question. If the geometry suits extrusion and the volume justifies a die, it is the same process route.

If it does not — deep 3D pockets, undercut sections, walls below 0.3 mm — we will say so and propose a machined route instead of quoting something we cannot hold.

STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF or PDF. Add the annual quantity and the one tolerance that matters most — that is enough to quote.

What to send

  • 2D drawing or 3D model (STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, PDF)
  • Alloy and temper
  • Surface finish and color
  • Estimated annual quantity
